Position Overview

CRNA position at Methodist Dallas Medical Center, a Level I trauma center in Dallas. Work in an anesthesia care team model with high autonomy for a variety of cases including general surgery, trauma, transplantation, orthopedics, ENT, vascular, plastics, bariatric, GI, IR, urology, OB, EP, neurology, and cardiac.

Key Responsibilities

CRNAs place their own epidurals, spinals, arterial lines, central lines, and some peripheral nerve blocks. High-acuity patient population.

Schedule and Call

Priority system for go-home order with early out and late shifts. Night and weekend shifts mostly covered by those who prefer them. Occasional weekend shifts every other month to every 3 months. Call is weekends only: back-up call from home Saturday 7-5 and Sunday 7-3 once every 6-8 weeks. Incentive pay for call shifts plus early relief or off day the following Monday. Opportunity for set shift scheduling.

Qualifications

All USAP CRNAs must meet state licensure and hospital credentialing requirements. Fresh out of training or seasoned veterans welcome.
