Position Overview

Per diem CAA position at Candler Hospital and St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah, GA. The role is part of a care team model with a progressive anesthesiology group serving the Southeast Georgia market for over 60 years.

Schedule & Call Requirements

Monday through Friday, 0700-1500. Call and non-call opportunities available. Other shifts also offered.

Case Assignments

Cardiac, general, orthopedic, neuro, GI, vascular, endo, gynecology, pediatrics, radiologic, and interventional cardiac procedures. No OB.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly rate of $175. Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures. Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent. Develop and discuss anesthetic plans. Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia. Monitor physiological condition and perform interventions as needed.

Qualifications

Master's Degree from an Accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant Program. Compliance with American Academy of Anesthesiologist Assistants licensure guidelines.
