Per diem anesthesiologist position with North American Partners in Anesthesia at Novant New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.

Compensation

Hourly rate of $300. Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage.

Facility Details

Novant New Hanover Regional Medical Center is a 678-bed level II trauma center serving as a tertiary care facility for seven counties in southeastern coastal North Carolina. Additional practice sites include Cape Fear Orthopedic Hospital, Pender Memorial Hospital, Dosher Hospital, Atlantic Surgi Center, and office-based settings.

Case Mix

Heart and vascular, pediatrics, neurosurgery, endoscopy, orthopedics, and OB/GYN.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures. Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent. Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients. Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia. Monitor physiological condition and perform interventions as needed. Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Requirements

MD or DO from an accredited institution. Completion of anesthesiology residency. Board eligible or board certified. Current medical licensure. ECFMG/FLEX if applicable.
