Compensation & Benefits

Facility Details

HSHS St. John's Hospital is a certified Level I trauma center and Level II pediatric trauma center. It is a teaching hospital affiliated with Southern Illinois University School of Medicine with a college of nursing. Surgery centers are among the most advanced in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures. Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent. Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients. Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia. Monitor patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed. Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Requirements

MD or DO from an accredited institution. Completion of anesthesiology residency. Board eligible or board certified. Current medical licensure. ECFMG/FLEX if applicable.
