Position Overview

Pediatric Anesthesiologist full-time position at St. David's Medical Center in Austin, TX. The role involves a wide variety of complex cases at a 426-bed acute care hospital with additional sites including North Austin Medical Center, South Austin Hospital, and Round Rock Medical Center.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary starts at $440K with approximately $130K in productivity and call pay for a total around $570K. Additional $50K pediatric specialty stipend and $50K sign-on incentive. Premium pay over 40 hours. Qualifications

Requires MD or DO degree from an accredited college of medicine, fellowship training in pediatric anesthesiology, completion of an approved anesthesia residency, ECFMG and FLEX certification, and current physician licensure.

Schedule & Call Requirements

Average work schedule of 40-50 hours per week with variable call.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive anesthesia care for surgical procedures, perform pre-anesthesia evaluations, develop anesthetic plans, manage induction maintenance and emergence, monitor physiological condition, and support departmental coordination.
