Position Overview

Per diem Anesthesiologist opportunity at Cumberland Valley Surgery Center in Hagerstown, MD. The facility is a multispecialty same-day surgery center with 1 operating room and 2 treatment rooms.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitor patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
• Board Eligible or Board Certified
• Current medical licensure
• Strong regional skills required

Compensation

Hourly rate: $350/hr (W2 or 1099 ICA). 1099 contractors must provide own medical malpractice insurance.

Practice Scope

Cases include pain management, orthopedic surgery, general surgery, dental/oral surgery, gynecology, plastic and reconstructive surgery, podiatry, and endoscopy.
