Position Overview

Medical Director Anesthesiologist position at Riverside Peninsula Surgery Center in Newport News, VA. This is a full-time role at an ambulatory surgery center on the campus of Riverside Regional Medical Center.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary of $440K with $100K sign-on incentive. Schedule & Call Requirements

No nights, weekends or call. Day shift only.

Case Mix

General surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, otolaryngology, pain management and plastic surgery.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive anesthesia care, perform pre-anesthesia evaluations, develop anesthetic plans, manage induction and emergence, monitor physiological condition and support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Requirements

MD or DO from accredited institution, completion of anesthesiology residency, board eligible or board certified, current medical licensure. ECFMG/FLEX if applicable.
