Cardiac Anesthesiologist position at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago, IL. The 319-bed Level I trauma center serves a diverse patient population on the west side of Chicago next to Douglass Park.
Salary of $460K with $25K cardiac stipend. Sign-on bonus of $50K paid in first payroll. Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures. Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent. Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients. Manage induction, maintenance and emergence from anesthesia. Monitor patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed. Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.
MD or DO degree from accredited College of Medicine. TEE proficiency required. Completion of cardiac fellowship. ECFMG and FLEX. Completion of approved residency in anesthesia. Currently licensed as a physician.
