Position Overview

Per diem Anesthesiologist opportunity at Methodist Texsan Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. North American Partners in Anesthesia is expanding its partnership with HCA Methodist Healthcare system.

Facility Details

Methodist Texsan Hospital is a 120-bed facility with full-service emergency department, 4 operating rooms, 4 cardiac catheterization labs, 24-hour cardiovascular emergency department, and rooftop helicopter pad.

Compensation

Per diem 1099 hourly rate: $325.00

Case Assignments

Cardiac, neurological, orthopedic, vascular, thoracic, electrophysiology, ECT, and general.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures. Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent. Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients. Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia. Monitor patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed. Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Requirements

MD or DO from an accredited institution. Completion of Anesthesiology Residency. Board eligible or board certified. Current medical licensure. ECFMG/FLEX if applicable.
