Position Overview

Per diem anesthesiologist opportunity at Day Kimball Hospital in Northeast Connecticut.

Compensation

Hourly rate of $275.

Case Mix

Orthopedics, OB/GYN, urology, ENT, podiatry, spine fusions, cataracts, endoscopy, colonoscopy, TEE, cardioversions, pacemakers, and general surgery. Pediatric cases limited to ENT procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures. Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent. Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients. Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia. Monitor patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed. Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Requirements

MD or DO from an accredited institution. Completion of anesthesiology residency. Board eligible or board certified. Current medical licensure. ECFMG/FLEX if applicable.
