Position Overview
Per diem Anesthesiologist supporting ChristianaCare Union Hospital, a 75-bed nonprofit community hospital in Elkton, MD.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
- Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
- Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
- Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitor patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
Case Assignments
- General surgery
- Urology
- Endo
Compensation
- Hourly rate: $200/hour
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
- Board Eligible or Board Certified
- Current medical licensure
- ECFMG/FLEX if applicable
