Position Overview

Full-time Pediatric Anesthesiologist position at Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center in Macon, Georgia. The role is in a care team model with a 4:1 supervision ratio.

Schedule & Call Requirements

Monday through Friday schedule from 0700 until cases finish, typically 1500-1700. Call runs from case completion until 0700 the next day on weekdays and 24-hour beeper call on weekends. Schedule is flexible with no more than three weeks per month.

Practice Details

The practice includes 16 anesthesiologists and 58 anesthetists working in a care team model. Case mix covers general surgery, cardiac, pediatrics, OB/GYN, ortho, trauma, plastics, ENT, urology and neurosurgery.

Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center is a 637-bed teaching hospital with a Level I Trauma Center, children's hospital, 34 operating rooms and a stand-alone outpatient facility. It is the second-largest hospital in Georgia.

Requirements

MD or DO degree, fellowship training in pediatric anesthesiology, completion of approved anesthesia residency, and current physician licensure. ECFMG and FLEX also required.
