Position Overview

Full-time CAA position at UNC Rex Hospital in Raleigh, NC. The role practices in a care team model within a 660-bed private not-for-profit hospital affiliated with UNC Health Care System.

Practice Model

Care team model with approximately 30 anesthesiologists and 80+ CRNAs. Affiliation with UNC Greensboro School of Nurse Anesthesia. Practice covers 25 subspecialties including General, Ortho, Neuro, EP, Vascular, Thoracic, Cardiac, Bariatrics, Endoscopy, OB, Ophthalmology, and limited pediatrics.

Facility Details

UNC Rex Hospital has approximately 40 anesthetizing sites including 24 main operating rooms, 6 procedure rooms, 3 OB suites, and additional out-of-department locations. Serves the Raleigh community with proximity to Cary, Durham, and Chapel Hill.

Schedule & Call Requirements

Full-time position with case assignments in cardiac, pediatrics, OBGYN, general, plastics, urology, and vascular procedures.

Requirements

Master's Degree from an Accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant Program. Compliance with American Academy of Anesthesiologist Assistants licensure guidelines.
