Schedule & Call Requirements

Work an average of 40-50 hours per week. Call varies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitor patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
• Board Eligible or Board Certified
• Current medical licensure
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)

St. David's Medical Center is a 426-bed acute care hospital with a 64-bed rehabilitation hospital. It includes the Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute and St. David's Neuroscience & Spine Institute.
