Position Overview

Cardiac Anesthesiologist full-time position at UPMC Hamot Medical Center in Erie, PA. The facility is a Level II trauma center with over 400 beds providing inpatient and outpatient services.

Salary of $565K annually plus $25K cardiac stipend and $75K sign-on incentive. Practice Model

Care team model with anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and surgeons working collaboratively. Focus on giving team members a voice while delivering care excellence.

Case Mix

Cardiac, orthopedic, neurosurgery, general surgery, transplants, and OBGYN cases.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures. Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations, obtain informed consent, develop anesthetic plans, manage induction maintenance and emergence, monitor physiological condition, and perform interventions as needed. Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Requirements

MD or DO from accredited institution. Completion of anesthesiology residency. Board eligible or board certified. Current medical licensure. ECFMG/FLEX if applicable.
