Position Overview

Chief Anesthesiologist opportunity at Boulders Ambulatory Surgery Center in Richmond, VA. This is a full-time role at a highly efficient outpatient orthopedic surgery center with four operating rooms.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary of $530,000 with $100,000 sign-on incentive. Schedule and Call

Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends, nights, or holidays. Call is optional with post-call day off.

Case Mix and Responsibilities

100% orthopedic cases including total joints, sports medicine, hand procedures, and healthy pediatrics. CRNA coverage is provided. Responsibilities include comprehensive anesthesia care, pre-anesthesia evaluations, anesthetic planning, induction and emergence management, physiological monitoring, and clinical leadership.

Requirements

MD or DO from an accredited institution, completion of anesthesiology residency, board eligible or board certified, current medical licensure. ECFMG or FLEX certification if applicable.
