Position Overview

Per diem CRNA position at Raleigh Orthopedic Surgery Center in Raleigh, North Carolina. The center is the largest outpatient orthopedic facility in Eastern North Carolina with seven operating rooms focused on sports medicine, total joints, hand/wrist, foot/ankle and occasional pediatrics.

Schedule and Call Requirements

Flexible Monday-Friday schedule. No holidays, nights or weekends required.

Compensation

Hourly rate of $175. Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtain and verify patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks
• Induction, maintenance and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring physiological condition
• Clinical interventions as needed

Case Mix

Sports medicine, total joints (hips, knees, shoulders), foot/ankle, hand/wrist/elbow, small back cases and occasional pediatrics. Regional anesthesia frequently used.

Requirements

Current license as registered professional nurse. Graduation from accredited nurse anesthesia program. Certified or recertified by AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
