Position Overview
Per diem CRNA opportunity at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY.
Facility Details
Vassar Brothers Medical Center is a 350-bed facility overlooking the Hudson River. It includes a 30-room ICU, 13 surgical suites, and a Level III neonatal ICU. The center offers cardiothoracic surgery and serves the Mid-Hudson Valley.
Compensation
Hourly rate: $185 W2 with fully paid malpractice or $195 1099 (provider supplies own malpractice).
Case Assignments
Cases include endo, general, labor and delivery, radiology, ortho, electrophysiology, GYN, vascular, neuro, URO, cardiac, thoracic, ENT, and plastics.
Key Responsibilities
Provide anesthesia care across procedures. Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations, obtain consent, develop anesthetic plans, manage induction and emergence, monitor patients, and support clinical leadership.
Requirements
Current RN license, graduation from accredited nurse anesthesia program, and certification by AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
