Position Overview

Full-time CRNA position at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, NJ. The role is part of a care team model with a supportive, collaborative group.

Compensation & Benefits

Schedule & Call Requirements

Schedules include 8-hour, 10-hour, 12-hour, and 24-hour shifts. Flexible schedules with opportunities for extra hours and call. CRNAs participate in the L&D team, placing spinals and epidurals. Cases cover a full CRNA scope of practice.

Facility Details

Overlook Medical Center is a 350-bed hospital offering neurodiagnostic, neurological, and neurosurgical services. It includes a certified Level IV Epilepsy Center, is a hub for the New Jersey Stroke Network, and houses the Gerald J. Glasser Brain Tumor Center.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures. Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent. Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients. Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia. Monitor the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed. Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Requirements

Current license as a registered professional nurse. Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education. Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
