Late-Shift Independent CRNA | Albuquerque, NM

Position Overview

Full-time late-shift CRNA position at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Averages 45-50 hours per week with late shift coverage every 5th day from 7:00am to 11:00pm. Post-call day off provided. Covers every 4th weekend.

Schedule and Call Requirements

Late shift every 5th day. Post-call day off. Weekend coverage every 4th weekend, which may include Saturday/Sunday day coverage or Friday/Saturday call from home. Generally no weekday call.

Practice Model

CRNAs and MDs practice independently in a collaborative anesthesiology team. CRNAs practice to full scope of license, performing pre-ops, anesthetics, PACU management, blocks, and lines independently. Facilitator available for board running, consultation, and emergencies.

Case Mix

General, ortho, ENT, bariatrics, plastics, GYN, GI, urology, spine, neuro, and optional OB. No trauma, cardiac, thoracic, or sick peds cases.

Compensation and Benefits

$450K-$500K annual compensation for 1099 practice. $60K sign-on/relo bonus with three-year commitment. 8 weeks off per year. Contractors must maintain insurance compliant with NM Patient Compensation Fund.

Albuquerque is the largest city in New Mexico with 310 days of sunshine annually. Backdropped by the Sandia Mountains, it offers biking, skiing, hiking, fly fishing, hunting, and golfing. 45 minutes to Santa Fe and under two hours to Taos.
