Position Overview
Locum-to-perm Anesthesiologist opportunity in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Schedule consists of 9-hour guaranteed shifts from 7a-4p for 1-4 weeks per month.
Schedule and Call
Rotating weeknight and 24-hour weekend call. Separate 24-hour OB call line available.
Practice Details
100% physician-only hands-on practice. Case mix includes general, orthopedics, neurosurgery (primarily spine), GYN oncology, urology, breast, ENT, endoscopy, and healthy pediatrics with basic regional anesthesia. Volume averages 1,200 surgical cases per month. EMR is Epic.
Requirements
Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology. Iowa license or IMLC Compact LOQ required. Expedited privileges available in 6-8 weeks with clean background.
