Position Overview
Founding team role for a new hospital-employed anesthesiology group in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Anesthesiologists predominantly perform their own cases in a high-volume, low-acuity setting.
Key Responsibilities
Diverse case mix including general surgery, orthopedics, urology, OB, neurosurgery (elective), oncology, and cardiology (TEE and EP).
Compensation & Benefits
Guaranteed W-2 base salary of $600,000 or higher 1099 options. Sign-on bonus of $300,000. Call pay of $2,000 per shift after required minimum. 10 weeks PTO. Malpractice tail coverage fully paid after three years.
Schedule & Call Requirements
Flexible call options with post-primary call day off.
Practice Model
New in-house hospital-employed group transitioning from private practice model. Predominantly personal care cases.
