Position Overview
Academic medical center position with faculty rank for qualified candidates in New Haven, Connecticut.
Key Responsibilities
General anesthesia for orthopedics, urology, ENT, plastics, and low-risk OB. Approximately 8500 pediatric cases and 800 OB cases per year. Pediatric cardiac cases performed.
Schedule and Call
In-house call approximately once per week. Seven weeks of vacation plus weekly on-campus CME lectures every Friday.
Compensation
$380000-$400000 annual salary. Full Yale University faculty benefits package.
Qualifications
Fellowship in cardiac anesthesia helpful but not required. Board certification appropriate for academic role.
Location
New Haven, Connecticut with convenient access to New York and Boston. Coastal city on Long Island Sound with strong schools and cultural amenities.
