Position Overview

Regional Anesthesiology Fellowship position at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, NJ. One-year non-ACGME program with plans for future ACGME accreditation.

Key Responsibilities

Fellows perform high-volume ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia for orthopedic, vascular, thoracic and abdominal surgeries. Clinical time in main and ambulatory operating rooms. Participate in didactic and scholarly activities with opportunities to teach anesthesiology residents.

Qualifications

M.D. or D.O. degree. Completion or in process of completing ACGME-accredited anesthesiology residency. In process of primary certification by American Board of Anesthesiology. New Jersey medical license required prior to start.

Facility Details

Hackensack University Medical Center is a 900-bed Level I trauma center and teaching hospital affiliated with Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine. New patient care tower with 24 operating rooms and orthopedic surgery center with 5 operating rooms.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary of $150,000 plus benefits. Moonlighting and call opportunities available. Additional clinical time offered.
