Position Overview

CAA opportunity at AdventHealth Wesley Chapel with a $75K start date bonus and 3-year commitment. The role is part of an established ACT practice serving AdventHealth Tampa, Wesley Chapel, and Carrollwood.

Key Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia services including general, regional, cardiac, and obstetrical care for adults and children. Case mix excludes trauma and transplants.

Schedule and Call

Full-time position with shift options of 8, 10, 12, 13, 14, 16, or 24 hours. Flexible day, night, and weekend schedules available. Minimal beeper call from home with 30-minute response time. Overtime opportunities offered.

Compensation and Benefits

$75K start date bonus with 3-year commitment. Benefits include PTO, CME allowance, medical, dental, vision, short- and long-term disability, parental leave, life insurance, 401(k) with employer contribution, and 100% paid malpractice with tail coverage.

Practice Model

ACT model with 35 physicians and 94 APPs across three hospitals. Facilities include AdventHealth Tampa (600 beds), AdventHealth Wesley Chapel (350 beds), and AdventHealth Carrollwood (200 beds).

Facility Details

AdventHealth Wesley Chapel opened in 2012 and is expanding in 2025 with additional inpatient beds, operating rooms, endoscopy suites, and imaging capabilities. The hospital offers advanced emergency care, wound care, mother and baby services, and specialty care.

Location

Wesley Chapel, Florida, is a fast-growing area in Pasco County with excellent schools, outdoor recreation, and access to Tampa Bay amenities. Florida has no state income tax.
