Position Overview

Well-established anesthesia practice located 45 minutes south of State College, Pennsylvania seeks an Anesthesiologist for a premier lifestyle-focused position. This stable group offers a highly desirable 1 week on / 1 week off schedule providing 26 weeks off annually.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia services for General Surgery, Orthopedics, Obstetrics, and Ophthalmology
• Perform pre-operative assessments and develop individualized anesthetic plans
• Manage intraoperative anesthesia including general and regional techniques
• Oversee post-operative recovery and pain management
• Participate in flexible call rotation with infrequent call-backs

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certification or Eligibility (ABA) in Anesthesiology
• New graduates highly encouraged to apply
• Pennsylvania medical license or eligibility
• Proficiency in general and obstetric anesthesia (epidurals and C-sections)

Schedule & Call Requirements

• Schedule: 1 week on / 1 week off rotation
• Call: Flexible with documented rare call-backs

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual Salary: $425,000 – $450,000
