Pediatric Dental Anesthesiologist | Seattle, WA

Position Overview

An established private anesthesiology practice in the Seattle metropolitan area seeks a board-certified or board-eligible Anesthesiologist for a highly flexible pediatric dental anesthesia position. This office-based role focuses exclusively on pediatric dental cases with a predictable daytime schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer general anesthesia and deep MAC for 5-10 pediatric dental cases daily
• Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations and manage pediatric airways
• Collaborate with pediatric dentists in a modern office setting
• Oversee emergence and post-anesthesia recovery
• Maintain compliant electronic anesthesia records

Qualifications

• MD or DO from accredited institution
• WA medical license (or eligibility)
• ACGME-accredited anesthesiology residency completion
• ABA board certified or eligible
• PALS and BLS certifications
• Strong pediatric airway management skills (fellowship not required)

Schedule & Call Requirements

• Tuesday through Friday schedule (three-day weekends)
• Part-time options available (2-3 days per week)
• 6-8 hour predictable daytime shifts
• No call requirements

Compensation & Benefits

• Full-time: $600,000-$700,000 annual
• Part-time: $2,500-$2,750 per day
• 1099 independent contractor structure
• 6 weeks vacation for full-time
