Position Overview

Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist opportunity at a high-efficiency multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center approximately one hour outside Atlanta, Georgia. This focused assignment covers specific dates in June and July with a predictable daytime schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer general anesthesia, deep sedation, and MAC for adult and pediatric outpatient ENT and cosmetic procedures
• Perform rapid pre-operative assessments and manage pediatric patients with appropriate protocols
• Monitor vitals intraoperatively and ensure smooth emergence with PACU supervision
• Maintain accurate electronic anesthesia records and collaborate with surgical team for efficient turnover

Qualifications

• MD or DO from accredited institution
• Board Certification in Anesthesiology (ABA or AOBA) required
• Active unrestricted Georgia medical license
• Pediatric proficiency for healthy outpatient ENT cases
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Independent malpractice insurance coverage

Schedule & Call Requirements

• Hours: 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• No call, no weekends, no nights
• June dates: 19, 25, 26, 29
• July dates: 1, 2, 8, 9, 16, 20, 23, 27, 30
• 10-15 cases per day

Compensation & Benefits

• $300 per hour on 100% 1099 independent contractor basis
• Daytime-only commitment with full schedule predictability
