Pediatric Dental Anesthesiologist | Austin, TX

Position Overview

An established private practice in the greater Austin, Texas area seeks a skilled Anesthesiologist for outpatient Pediatric Dental procedures. This role offers exceptional flexibility with full-time or part-time tracks in a modern, child-friendly setting focused on healthy pediatric patients (ASA 1 & 2).

Key Responsibilities

• Administer general anesthesia, deep sedation, and MAC for pediatric dental procedures
• Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations, airway assessments, and intraoperative management independently
• Oversee post-anesthetic recovery and ensure safe discharge
• Maintain clear communication with pediatric patients and families
• Complete accurate EHR documentation

Qualifications

• MD or DO from accredited institution
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Accredited Anesthesiology Residency completion
• Experience in pediatric anesthesia or pediatric dental anesthesia
• Active Texas Medical License (or eligibility)
• Active DEA and Texas Controlled Substances registration
• PALS and BLS certifications

Schedule & Call Requirements

• Daytime hours only
• No call, no nights, no weekends
• Part-time option: 3 days per week
• 100% direct care model with no CRNA supervision
