Position Overview

Full-time Faculty Anesthesiologist position at UT Health Tyler in Tyler, TX. This academic role is employed by the University of Texas at Tyler Health Science Center and offers a compensation package of $575K for 42 weeks of service with 10 weeks off.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care across a broad case mix including trauma, general, major vascular, ENT, OB/GYN, neuro, ortho, ophthalmology, plastics, podiatry, and endoscopy
• Participate in teaching anesthesia residents, medical students, internal medicine residents, and family medicine residents
• Collaborate with a team of 9-11 physicians daily

Schedule & Call Requirements

• In-house 24-hour call frequency of 1:11
• Post-call day off provided

Qualifications

• Board certified
• Eligible for Texas medical licensure
• Commitment to clinical excellence in an academic environment
