Position Overview

Essential Anesthesia Management seeks a board-certified or board-eligible Anesthesiologist for a 1099 position at CHI St. Luke's Health - Memorial Hospital in Lufkin, Texas. This multi-specialty facility offers a full scope of services in a care team model.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care across general surgery, orthopedic, Endo/GI, urology, ENT (including some pediatric), spine, ophthalmology, and OB/GYN cases
• Supervise CRNAs in a general supervision model
• Rotate backup call every other day while working

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible
• Regional anesthesia proficiency preferred (training available)
• Comfortable overseeing CRNAs

• 167-bed hospital
• Level IV trauma center
• Care team: 3 anesthesiologists and 8 CRNAs

Compensation & Benefits

• $600,000 for 35 weeks of service (1099)
