Position Overview

This Advanced Practice Nurse (Practitioner/Ambulatory) position is located at Bayne Jones Army Community Hospital in Fort Polk, Louisiana. The role provides comprehensive health care for patients of all ages in a Medical Treatment Facility setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain health history and conduct physical examinations
• Provide treatment for minor/acute and chronic conditions using therapeutic modalities
• Perform procedures such as skin biopsies, cryotherapy, and toenail removal within scope of practice
• Manage patient treatment with medications, counseling, and ancillary supplies
• Manage chronic health problems per existing protocols
• Prepare complete, accurate documentation on all patients

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range is $89,508 - $116,362 per year. Salary negotiation may be available for new federal service candidates. Non-federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes. Direct Deposit of Pay is required.
