Position Overview

This Direct Hire position is for an Advanced Practice Nurse (Midwife) at Evans Army Community Hospital, Fort Carson, Colorado. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized along with salary negotiation for new federal employees and possible student loan repayment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive gynecologic care including well-woman exams, contraceptive care, family planning, colposcopy, biopsies, and contraceptive placement.
• Evaluate functional and dysfunctional problems related to the female reproductive system.
• Complete obstetrical evaluations, develop plans of care, manage labor, and order diagnostic studies including first and third trimester ultrasounds.
• Deliver primary preventive care, education, and counseling for women.
• Participate in peer audit processes and patient care rounds.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range is $120,429 - $156,561 per year. Recruitment or relocation incentives may be authorized. Student loan repayment may be available. Non-federal work experience may be creditable for leave.

Schedule & Requirements

Position is designated as Mission Essential and Inclement Weather Essential. A 1-year probationary period applies. U.S. citizenship and appropriate licensure/certification are required.
