Position Overview

Join the Richmond VA Medical Center team as a CRNA in General Surgery and Urology. Provide advanced clinical practice, consultation, and patient management within the Central Virginia VA Health Care System. Focus on health promotion, disease prevention, and evidence-based care for Veterans.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage patients with acute/chronic conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Order/interpret labs, tests, and diagnostics.
• Prescribe pharmacologic/non-pharmacologic interventions.
• Initiate referrals and consults.
• Provide patient/family education.
• Assist with urological exams and procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship preferred.
• English proficiency.
• Unrestricted license.
• Pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Influenza vaccination required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $121,037 - $160,978 per year.
• PTO: 50 days/year (26 annual leave, 13 sick, 11 federal holidays).
• Retirement: Federal pension (5-year vesting) + 401K with up to 5% VA match.

Schedule & Call Requirements

• Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm.
• Day shifts only.
• No telework or virtual.
• Compressed/flexible schedule may be authorized.
