Position Overview

Full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) position with the Veterans Health Administration in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Provide anesthesia services in inpatient and outpatient settings under medical direction of an anesthesiologist or licensed physician. Focus on pre-anesthesia evaluation, induction/maintenance/emergence, post-anesthesia care, and peri-anesthetic support.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with healthcare team for patient care, safety, and welfare.
• Develop and implement comprehensive anesthesia plans for local, regional, general, and monitored anesthesia inside/outside OR.
• Function as staff education resource and preceptor for trainees.
• Prescribe preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative medications.
• Promote evidence-based practices for high-quality anesthesia care.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship preferred.
• English proficiency.
• Unrestricted license from any U.S. State or territory.
• Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening.
• Participate in seasonal influenza vaccination program.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $156,777 - $227,274 per year
• PTO: 50 days per year (26 days annual leave, 13 days sick leave, 11 federal holidays)

• Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Telework: Not eligible
