Key Responsibilities

• Medical management for surgical, endoscopic, medical, and dental procedures
• Emergency anesthesia and airway support
• Pre/post-op consultation, general/regional/neuraxial anesthesia
• Acute and chronic pain management (blocks, injections)
• Arterial/central line placement, intubation, cricothyrotomy
• Consultative services, multidisciplinary team coordination
• Moderate sedation, supervision of medical students/residents

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or equivalent from accredited school
• U.S. Citizenship preferred
• Unrestricted medical license
• Board certification preferred for full-time CME
• Proficient in English, pass pre-employment physical/drug screen

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $124,000 - $400,000 per year
• PTO: 50-55 days/year (26 annual, 13 sick, 11 federal holidays + possible 5 CME days)
• Retirement: Federal pension (5-year vesting) + 401K up to 5% VA match

• CME: Up to $1,000/year reimbursement
