Part-Time VA Anesthesiologist w/ EDRP | Evansville, IN

Position Overview

Join the Anesthesia Service at Evansville VA Health Care Center as a part-time Anesthesiologist providing high-quality care to Veterans. This role involves direct patient care across OR, PACU, ICU, Pain Clinic, IR, and GI suites. Supervise CRNAs and participate in shared on-call. Key Responsibilities

• Perform pre-operative risk assessments and write notes.
• Administer anesthesia, place IVs, arterial/central lines, and monitoring devices.
• Supervise CRNAs in team-based care.
• Provide consultations and secure informed consent.
• Participate in pre-op clinic and education/training of staff, students, and residents.
• Sites: OR, PACU, ICU, Pain Clinic, IR/GI suites.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from accredited school.
• Full, unrestricted U.S. medical license.
• ACLS and BLS certification.
• U.S. Citizenship preferred; proficient in English.
• Pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $124,308 - $400,000 per year (prorated for part-time hours).
• Recruitment incentive (sign-on bonus) may be authorized.
