Position Overview

Full-time (part-time available) Anesthesiologist position at Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI. Deliver high-quality anesthesia care to Veterans, Active Duty, and dependents. Board-certified by ABA required. Open continuous hiring until filled.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pre-operative risk assessments, physical exams, and documentation.
• Personally provide direct anesthesia services: IVs, arterial/central lines, monitoring.
• Cover OR, PACU, GI suite, bronchoscopy, ECT, and bedside procedures.
• Secure informed consent and maintain ACLS/PALS/BLS certifications.
• Provide oversight for medical students, residents, and fellows from MCW.
• Comply with VA policies and evidence-based guidelines.

Qualifications

• Board certification by ABA.
• Unrestricted US medical license.
• US Citizenship (non-citizens rare).
• Proficient in English; pass drug screen, background check, physical.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $250,000 - $400,000 per year.
• Recruitment Incentive (sign-on bonus) available.
